slowly, slowly

… catchy monkey, right?

It’s slow going, but I’ve made it to the collar!  There were some minor knitting disasters along the way, but nothing that couldn’t be fixed.  Or, at least, I think they’re fixed.  I’ll have a better idea of how it all worked out once I get the sleeves in?  Maybe?

Here’s to hoping.

Also, my exams start tomorrow.  I have no idea why I’m so freaked out about them.  I’ve studied, I know this stuff pretty well, I’ve already taken (and passed!) similar exams.  I have not gotten significantly less competent in the last 5 years.

And yet.  I still hate exams.

  1. good luck, katie. boh and i will send happy thoughts your way — that the thinking and writing comes easily and that you feel good about the work both during and after the exams. (and competent? that sounds like the understatement of the year. you know this stuff — and have exciting thoughts about it.)

  2. Best of luck! I’m sure you’ll do fine! Also, no questioning your skills! You wouldn’t have made it so far without being competent!

  3. You’ll be 200% fine in your exams. 🙂 I was thinking today that it doesn’t make any sense that I’m completely nervous and anxious that it’s the first day of school, so I understand, actually. It’s silly.

  4. Good luck with your exams, I’m sure they’ll go well!

The yarn is working up so nice and toasty like.
